It is designed for heavy-duty trucks (Class 2–6) and utilizes the UltraMount 2 mounting system. Its flared wings are independently controlled and can be configured into different positions for efficiency. Key features The Wide-Out XL's key features include adjustable steel wings that offer four configurations: retracted straight-blade for narrow spaces, expanded straight-blade for wider coverage, windrow mode with one wing angled forward, and scoop mode with both wings angled forward to carry more snow. The plow is built with structural reinforcement from eight vertical ribs, a heavy-duty quadrant, and a dual Western Power Bar to prevent twisting, along with a 3/16" steel slide box.
