In 1947, New Holland was acquired by Sperry which formed Sperry New Holland and then in 1986, Ford bought Sperry New Holland and aptly formed Ford New Holland Inc. Just a short 5-years later, Fiat purchased Ford New Holland and repositioned the brand back to New Holland and introduced the infamous New Holland blue for its agricultural equipment.

While New Holland would go on to be acquired by CNH Industrial in 1999, the brand would continue to expand its product and technology offering with the presentation of products such as the NHDrive concept autonomous tractor (2016) and the world’s first production tractor fully powered by methane (2019).
