Description

1977 INTERNATIONAL 1586 Local farmer consignment. Tractor starts, runs, clutches, brakes, steers and shifts as it should. Hi/Lo powershift works as it should. Three point hitch goes up and down as it should, PTO does "freewheel" (see videos). Good rubber all around, cab interior is decent, glass and exterior of cab and tractor as a whole are pretty clean. Owner has used this for light tillage and to pull a large square baler and states the tractor runs and operates as it should. Please note that I could not get the digital tachometer to work, unsure if hour meter is functional so we cannot guaranty hours. This seems like a solid little IHC 1586. We did have to jump start the tractor on the day of listing but it was only about 25 degrees and the tractor fired right up without the use of ether so I think the compression in that motor is strong. Please also note that in the picture you can see leaking fluid on the ground under the left-hand side of the cab. This is a drip of a fuel leak from the fuel tank - not sure where that drip is coming from. The tractor had been parked there for about three months when we took the pictures. Also please note that the left-side door will open from the inside but not the outside - you have to enter from the right side when you get into the
