TRIPLE C HYDRABED This Hydra-Bed is mounted to a 2017 Chevy 3500 HD (selling truck and bale bed together as pictured). Clean Colorado title in hand. Truck is showing 117k miles, automatic, 4WD, Duramax 6.6L diesel, Allison 6-speed automatic, power door locks, power windows, power mirrors. This is coming off of a local ranch that has upgraded to a newer truck and bed. Truck starts, runs, shifts, steers, brakes and operates as it should. I did not see any blowby coming out of the oil fill tube (watch videos). The hydra-bed works as it should. However, the solenoids are very stiff. They will either need serviced and used to free them up or they may actually need to be replaced by the buyer. We were able to get the solenoids to work with manual assistance (we had to help engage and disengage them with a set of pliers) and then the bed will work but you can't simply back up to a bale the way they are right now, load and go. You are going to have to get those solenoids freed up in order to use the bed. The electric motor that runs the bale bed works fine, the arms spread and clamp as they should and they rotate all of the way back and up as they should - once the solenoids are engaged properly. Other than those issues with the solenoids, everything else works as it should. Owner's rep says the check engine light has been diagnosed as the #8 glow plug needs replaced.
