Minneapolis Moline Model R Tractor This beautifully restored Minneapolis-Moline Model R is one of the classic row-crop and utility tractors manufactured from 1939 to 1954, featuring the popular RTU row-crop variant Technical Specifications Engine Horsepower: Developed 27.09 hp at 1500 rpm. Drawbar Horsepower: 23.90 hp. Engine Displacement: 165 cubic inches (4-cylinder, bore/stroke 3.58 x 4 inches). Production Years: 1939 to 1954 Model Variants RTU: Universal row-crop model with a narrow front axle, which was the most popular configuration. RTE: Adjustable front axle version. RTI: Industrial version featuring a foot clutch, throttle, and a straight front axle. Model R with Cab: An early attempt by Minneapolis-Moline to provide an enclosed operator cab, though it was short-lived as farmers at the time preferred open stations
