2009 Case IH 2162

Used, AVAILABLE Immediately, On Yard, For Sale 2009 Case IH 2162 40-foot draper head in good overall condition for its age. This head was last run on a Case IH flagship combine. We have hooked it up and operated it, and all functions worked as they should. It was also run in the field for a customer at the end of last season and functioned properly. Overall, this is a serviceable head that could go to the field as-is, but it does have several items that could use some TLC. The draper belts appear to be in good serviceable condition, including the center belt based on what is visible. The sickle is sharp and serviceable, and the guards show reasonable wear without being excessively rounded. Reel bats are mostly straight, with several bent reel teeth but none visibly missing. The reel bushings show wear but remain serviceable. No visible leaks were noted on the reel lift or fore/aft cylinders or hydraulic pump, although there is some oil collecting on the bottom of the main gearbox. Known items include an issue with the header tilt indicator cable, a missing dust cover on the hydraulic multicoupler, and a missing piece of sheet metal near the center auger drive. The center auger currently does not have fingers installed, and we have not verified whether the internal finger mechanism is present. The left-hand crop divider is bent near the front bracket, while the right-hand divider appears to be in good condition. The plastic covers over the float mechanism have been removed to
