The International 1456 is a large, heavy-duty farm tractor built from 1969-1971. It's powered by a turbocharged IH DT407 6-cylinder diesel making around 130 PTO horsepower, designed for serious tillage and field work. The standard tread version like this tractor was favored in the western wheat growing states. The 1456 features a gear transmission with optional Torque Amplifier, 1000-RPM PTO and strong hydraulics. It's best known for its power, durability, and classic late-1960s IH styling. This rare International 1456 Golden Demonstrator is a remarkable example of IH power, history, and craftsmanship. The tractor has received a top-tier restoration using automotive-quality paint, along with new tires, seat cushions, and lighting, resulting in a finish that is truly second to none.
