Archive research confirms this tractor was the only early 4430 retained by John Deere, built in the Fall of 1972 and then sold used in April 1974 to the original owner in Colfax, IA, who confirmed the history of this tractor and its use at the Waterloos Factory when the tractor was acquired by the Craig family in 2001.
