M&W DD50 17' ground-driven M&W 5000 Dyna-Drive rotary tiller. No PTO or hydraulics required - the front set of tines are connected to the rear set of tines by a chain-drive system but the rear set rotate faster (about four times faster) than the front set which helps to turn up, till and break down the soil. Rear baskets helps firm and press the soil and this machine works very well. Owner states optimum operational speed is about 12 mph and needs about 150 HP for operation (in the sandier soil where he farms).
