In the 1990s, Top Air purchased three companies to add to round out its portfolio of products, but ceased operations in 2000. Unverferth Manufacturing now produces the Top Air line of chemical applicators.

The TA 1600 sprayer, produced by Unverferth, won an American Society of Agricultural Engineers’ top AE 50 designation, which celebrates the best innovations in engineering and technology for agricultural and food systems.
