Through the process of designing and building a larger capacity gravity wagon, Mike recognized a growing need for farmers. They needed to keep the combine moving and, in the field, instead of parked while it was unloaded, and this wasn’t being adequately met by any company or piece of existing grain handling equipment. It was filling this need that resulted in the development of the products like the first double-auger grain cart and later, other products to improve harvest efficiency, including the first single-auger grain cart with side discharge.

With the sale of Brent Industries to Unverferth Manufacturing in 1988, the brand has been able to expand its market presence while continuing to bring innovation and best-in-class grain handling equipment to the agriculture industry.
