The John Deere Z515E ZTrak is a zero-turn riding mower for owners of large properties who want to finish mowing sooner and still get a clean, even cut. A 24 hp V-twin engine and dual Tuff Torq hydrostatic transmissions drive large 22x9.5-10 rear tires, with forward speeds up to 8 mph, so open ground and rougher terrain go by quickly. Twin levers let the operator turn tightly around trees, beds and fence lines, which cuts down on trimming afterward. The side discharge deck is built from 10 gauge steel and has a deep, flat-top design that helps spread clippings evenly. A 4.5 U.S. gal. fuel tank allows longer runs between fill-ups, and the foot lift with preset cut height makes changing the mowing height quick.
