1978 JOHN DEERE 2240 John Deere 2240 three-cylinder diesel, 8 speed synchro, three point, 540 PTO, unsure if hours are accurate. Tractor starts, runs, clutches, shifts, steers, brakes and generally operates as it should. Three point and PTO work as they should. Please note that this is not truly a live PTO - this tractor has the two-stage clutch that will disengage the transmission while the PTO will still run, then when the clutch is depressed fully, will stop the PTO as well. Good power steering, good tin work, good rubber. Additional questions can be directed to the owner during normal business hours at 970_250_0527. Loading assistance is available with at least 24 hours advance notice. Sales tax at the rate of 5.27% will be added to the purchase price of this item unless the buyer claims this as an ag exempt purchase and provides the auction company with a completed and signed Colorado ag exemption affidavit which will remove all sales tax.
