Revenue Operations Analyst Intern (Spring or Summer 2024)

Tractor Zoom is an online search engine for heavy machinery auctions and database for market trends. We have partnered with 660+ auction companies and over 1,300 dealer locations to advertise machinery throughout the entire United States.
We are changing the way the industry researches, values, and manages the purchase of farm equipment. We are working to bring products and technology to the market that provide transparency into heavy machinery data. We are helping leaders in agriculture use our $37B of transaction data to make more informed, data-driven decisions about farm equipment.
The Sales Operations Analyst is focused on optimizing internal operations, improving customer acquisition/experience, and establishing a revenue driven culture. This individual assists Tractor Zoom’s organization to be effective by simplifying and continuously improving sales processes and driving performance through best practices. S/he works with the Sales and Customer Success team to align efforts, maintain technical platforms, and provide analytics. The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, strong analytical skills, and a knowledge of sales processes is a plus.
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success (and other cross-functional teams) to align on best in class tools, practices, training materials, and processes to drive efficiency.
Partner with Sales and Customer Success to optimize the operations process, from generating leads to customer acquisition and retention.
Translate business requirements into innovative solutions that support reliability, availability, and security.
Serve as subject matter expert in software tools such as SalesForce, Confluence, Drip, Loom and other internal admin applications.
Research systems to measure, track, and improve accuracy through audits, identify and resolve issues to support relevant and actionable data.
Leverage business insights and transformational leading indicators to benchmark performance metrics.
Research onboarding and training programs for teams of key systems and processes with HR.
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, analytics, or other related fields
Project management experience a plus
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to drive decision-making and optimize sales and customer success strategies
Good business acumen and understanding of sales processes and revenue optimization
Understand the sales process through account management experience a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills
Results-orientated with a hands-on, can-do attitude
Internships are paid hourly at 40-hour work weeks, generally offered between Jan-Apr or May-August
Part-time may be available during the school term to support class schedules
All intern positions are based at our office in West Des Moines, IA working on a hybrid schedule - 4 days in office and 1 day remote, or customized due to college course schedule
All interns will be expected to secure their own housing
