We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Lead Salesforce Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Tractor Zoom. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and architecture of a world-class, scalable solution tailored to meet the diverse needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement cutting-edge Salesforce solutions that drive business growth and customer success.

Hybrid - 4 days in office and 1 day remote

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and architecture of a scalable and customizable solution on the Salesforce platform, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Architect and implement highly scalable and extensible Salesforce solutions, leveraging the latest platform features, APIs, and integration techniques to deliver optimal performance and user experience.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Salesforce engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive the adoption of Salesforce best practices, development standards, and policies across the organization, ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and data privacy regulations.

  • Evaluate and recommend third-party tools and integrations to enhance the functionality and value proposition of our Salesforce solution, while maintaining a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Optimize and refactor existing Salesforce codebase to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability, while minimizing technical debt.

  • Stay abreast of emerging Salesforce technologies, trends, and best practices, and assess their potential impact on our solution architecture and development roadmap.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement robust testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of our Salesforce solution.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Salesforce development and architecture, providing guidance and support to internal teams and customers as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, architecture, and implementation, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and innovative solutions.

  • Extensive experience with Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs, as well as proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading and mentoring teams of Salesforce engineers in Agile environments.

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect are highly desirable.

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices, with a focus on designing scalable and extensible solutions.

  • Experience with Salesforce integration patterns

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
