Caterpillar 245 Excavator in Savage, MT This item located in Savage, MT Caterpillar 245 Excavator, 36,000 hours, You will need an appointment with the mine to pick this machine up. You cannot just show up & expect immediate service. Cat 245 Excavator, 3406 engine. We were told this machine runs, works, and was used this last January. Currently needs batteries or a jump pack to start. We have not heard it run in-person. The undercarriage has wear and might use some attention. The right idler has a gouge in it. We noticed the pin where the stick pivots looks worn. Bucket is approx. 56" wide. It is heavy, bring the right truck & trailer combination. Book shows it at 133,000 lbs. Serial Number: 95V864
